Curriculum

After school care is offered for a fee until 5:00pm for any child attending Holy Rosary.  Homework assistance is provided.

 

Pre-K

Your child is a gift from God.  We endeavor to teach our children how special they are in God's eyes and how they recognize God in the world around them. We provide a safe, secure, intimate environment with a certified teacher and a teacher's aide.  Children 3 and 4 years old, are taught to share and show consideration for others.  Religious values are incorporated into the program.

Holy Rosary offers flexible schedules for Pre-Kindergarten children, three or five days, either half or full day with an option of an extended day.

Grades K through 8th

Holy Rosary School curriculum meets and strives to exceed the requirements of the State of New York and the Archdiocese of New York course of study with proven results:

• 100% of our 4th grade students passed the 2003 New York State English and Mathematics Exams.

• 100% of the 5th grade passed the 2003 New York State Social Studies Exam.

In the 2002-2003 school year a new hands-on inquiry based science program called "Science 21" was implemented

We also offer advanced Math for grades 6-8,  Computer Instruction and  Spanish for all grades as well as the following sports and extra curricular activities:
